I’ve been doing some reading recently and apparently My Chemical Romance fans have stopped moshing to a certain degree. I’ve also seen some videos of a moshpit at an MCR show and it was, well, pathetic. But, I also got an email last week from a father who’s son broke his arm in an MCR concert. I haven’t come to a conclusion yet, do they mosh or not!?
Well here’s more evidence that they do, but I’m still skeptical. The video is quite hilarious by the way. As always, the media is quite ignorant when it comes to My Chemical Romance, or rock in general.

3This was just crazy I was at the Atlanta show of this, the Projekt Revolution, Tour. There was a LOT of crowd surfing and moshing during the shows of the smaller bands (Mindless Self Indulgence was the wildest IMO) but in Atlanta there was almost nothing. Gerard actually said he wanted to see a big f*&#ing mosh pit in front of the stage but there were a lot of younger fans with their parents so nothing happened and maybe two people crowd surfed. Security was great at our show, plenty of water was provided, and nothing bad happened. I can say the same for a couple of other shows of the tour my friends/family attended. I have a feeling what happened at that show was caused by the conditions/staff at that particular venue.
