I’m personally too cheap to buy any consoles when I could just play games on the computer. This does have it’s disadvantages though. There’s cool games such as Guitar Hero that I miss out on. While I will miss out on it no matter what, there’s a free alternative that’s just as rad.

Stepmania. It’s just as fun. It’s actually even better because you can download more songs for free. I believe you can also make your own. You can also buy the Guitar Hero guitar, but remember we’re talking about being cheap here. Although you can still buy it for $40 and not waste any money on the console.

Not convinced? Instead of manually setting up the steps/song, just download the auto step generator and play Stepmania with your favorite songs. You might even get Grandpa to play this.
